NCL Integrated Care Board has funded a flexible staff pool across all five boroughs of NCL, engaging local GPs and other healthcare professionals to support primary care and PCN extended access services.
Health & Care Staff Pool Limited was awarded the contract to deliver this service, known locally as NCL Connect, helping groups of practices increase capacity in general practice.
The vision is for NCL Connect to become a local point of contact, offering support and advice to the GP workforce, particularly those returning to general practice or working flexibly.
